December sunset

I am so fortunate to live in California where Mother Nature gives us sunsets like this in December.

Can't wait to go again

Today I dragged my sleepy head out of bed hopped on BART and walked around San Francisco. It was nice and chilly but cloudy which wasn't ideal but when is the city not cloudy. Honestly it's a photographers paradise. From the moment I got off the train my mind was on overload! I look forward to going to the city again soon to take more photos. I am truly fortunate to be only a short train ride or car ride away from such an awesome city. Enjoy!

Cheered me up

So I had to run to the grocery store today and right before I left the sun decided to make an appearance after several days of down pour.  So I grabbed my camera a took a few pictures while I could.  Hopefully it will be nice next weekend so I could go to San Francisco to take some pics. :) After such gloomy weather and a rough week taking these quick shots really cheered me up!

Missing the sun

So the forecast for the next 4+ days is rain, down pour and more rain. Bummed because I'd like to be out in the sun takings pics.  Maybe I'll try my hand at taking some rain shots.

Sincerely,
Missing the sun

P.S. Leaves crunching under your shoes equals lovin'

Some black and white photos

So for my new audience I wanted to share tonight some black and white photos I recently took. I'm obsessed with editing photos that way. To me it's much more striking and dramatic on the eyes.  Thanks for taking a peek! Till next time.

New to blogging

So I'm a blog virgin and I have no clue what I'm doing so bare with me. I recently got into taking photos again. And I need somewhere to share my photos so I'm not bombarding my Facebook friends with all the pictures I take plus I wanted to share my photos with a new audience.

So long story short I got into taking photos in high school. I would go out and take pictures on the family's 35mm camera and then I would eagerly await for them to be developed at our local Longs. I really got into photography when I took a photography class in high school. My grandpa graciously let me borrow his old Nikkormat and then I really fell in love  but like a ding-dong I didn't stick with it. But recently I delved back in and I can't stop. So enjoy! Here are some photos I recently took...
